For most limited companies, Corporation Tax is paid 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period. Filing the CT600 return is a separate obligation with its own deadline, explained in our guide.

Clear information.Sensible checks.

  1. 01

    Where company details come from

Company names, numbers, accounts dates and confirmation statement dates come from the public Companies House register.

  2. 02

    What you confirm

VAT, PAYE, CIS and Self Assessment aren’t on the public register, so you tell us which apply and how often.

  3. 03

    How dates are worked out

Dates are calculated from the information supplied. If a detail is wrong or out of date, the dates will be too.

  4. 04

    When to double-check

Notices from HMRC or Companies House, first accounts, changed year ends and other unusual cases can mean different dates. Your notices take priority.
